The first look of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming spy-thriller Dhurandhar will be attached to Param Sundari as it is set to be released in theatres this week. The first look of Dhurandhar was unveiled earlier on Ranveer’s birthday and audiences coming to watch Param Sundari will get a chance to watch it on the big screen.

Helmed by URI: The Surgical Strike (2019) director Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar also stars Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan pivotal roles. The first look gave a glimpse into its dark world, introducing Ranveer as a rugged warrior with long hair, as he is seen engaging in violent action sequences. Akshaye, Sanjay and Arjun seem to play grey characters, having intense looks. The film promises to be a stylistic actioner, although plot details were kept under wraps.

Sharing the first look, Ranveer wrote on Instagram, “An Inferno will rise. Uncover the true story of The Unknown Men.”

As per reports, Madhavan plays the role of NSA chief Ajit Doval in the film. It is also being speculated that Ranveer plays the role of Major Mohit Sharma, a shooter who had entered Pakistan and befriended terrorists as part of his covert operation. He passed away in 2009 during an operation in Kashmir. There is no official confirmation on this yet.

The film features music and background score by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics by Kumaar. It is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya and Lokesh Dhar, and is set to be released in theatres on December 5.

On the other hand, Param Sundari is a romantic-drama starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead. Directed by Tushar Jalota, the film also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Renji Panicker, Manjot Singh, Siddhartha Shankar and Inayat Verma in pivotal roles. It will be released in theatres on August 29.
